Share Transfers
Inter Account Transfers (IAT's)

Transfers from one person to another person in the MSD system can be made only in the following cases:
1- Those declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction in the Maldives.
2- Share transfers among the family members; spouse, mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, children (including grand children) half sisters and half brothers only.
To transfer shares between MSD accounts a completed Inter Account Transfer Form (Form 07) need to be submitted to MSD in person by the transferor.
Physical Share Transfers (PST's)

A physical share certificate can be transferred from one person to another person only in the following cases:
1- Those declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction in the Maldives.
2- Share transfers among the family members; spouse, mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, children (including grand children) half sisters and half brothers only.
To transfer shares between persons a completed Share Transfer Form (Form 08) need to be submitted to MSD in person by the transferor or by a representative.
